If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it’s not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That’s why it’s your path.-—Joseph Campbell

The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. – Joseph Campbell

It’s a new week.  The summer heat seems to have broken.  The Saints won their game yesterday.  It’s time to get back into the world.

I’ve had too much time on my hands.  Too much time in my head.  But that’s not such a bad thing.  I needed to get to this point of restlessness.

And who are you today?

One who will play bingo with her after school kids. The younger ones will recognize numbers, the older ones will practice math facts. And there will be prizes!

One who will finish reading Fahrenheit 451 for tomorrow’s book club.

One who will find another eggplant recipe for her prolific plants.

One who will take a long walk through the gardens behind the art museum.

It’s a good thing to be me
