If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it’s not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That’s why it’s your path.-—Joseph Campbell

Peaceful Joy

When you feel a peaceful joy, that’s when you are near truth.    Rumi

The morning is fresh from the overnight rain.

Yesterday afternoon was spent with my best friend from high school at the city’s annual arts festival listening to my brother play the blues.

I’ve made the decision to let go of some savings and replace the ancient brown shag carpeting that runs throughout my house with laminate flooring.  (I know, it’s about time.)

This week and next I will facilitate four writing classes with GED students.

I’m rereading The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien.

Tomorrow the after school kids and I will play with tangrams.
