If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it’s not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That’s why it’s your path.-—Joseph Campbell

Happy to Live With

Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.    Golda Meir

“the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life.”  I like that perspective.

So today I am…

doing NaNo prewrites…

deep cleaning and decluttering…

taking a walk in this gorgeous fall weather…

planting carrot seeds…

and paying attention.  The kind of self I am happy to live with.

I am shutting down the computer for now to go fan those tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.

Thanks, Ms. Golda, for the inspiration.

    Wonderful quote. Thanks.

  2. It’s important to construct an image that represent your internal self….be everything and you will get everything out of life. Look in the mirror and be able to love your reflection, take your last breath with the idea you lived a life worth leaving behind!!!!

  3. “The kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life.” I like that too 🙂

  4. Brilliant quote and I love your plans for the day which all sound like a lot of fun, long may the flames of achievement flourish:-)
