It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.    Gandhi

I had pulled back for three days to nurse a cold and found myself enjoying the solitude.  My fear last night was that I am slipping into a self-absorbed isolation.  Do I think my company is preferable to anyone else’s?

This morning I see it as a passing thought.  A reminder that being connected to others is necessary for wholeness.

Gandhi’s quote is today’s note to self…

  1. Been thinking about this concept lately myself. Much comfier and cozier to stay in the solitude, but the wholeness is indeed in the connectedness, as you said. Good post…. thank you.

  2. A reminder of connection is always apropos. Thank you. And thank you for visiting.
