If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it’s not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That’s why it’s your path.-—Joseph Campbell

Not as Antagonists

faithdoubtFaith and doubt both are needed – not as antagonists, but working side by side – to take us around the unknown curve.    Lillian Smith

I’m hopeful, as we in this season of unknown, recognize the importance of both day and night, light and dark, love and fear, joy and sorrow, beginnings and endings, and, yes, faith and doubt.

Happy Solstice, y’all!

  1. To you too. Have a Joyous, Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New year! Jay

  2. There’s a simple song I love which repeats these words, ‘Be still and know that day and night, be still and know that dark and light, are one holy circle’…I sing it whenever I need reminding of what you share here…and of course at Solstice…many blessings to you:-)
