For a year I posted a morning quote on my Facebook page.  Someone else’s wise words about my own thoughts to carry with me through the day.

Another’s words rather than my own mindless “reaction” words.  Those defensive, caustic, cynical, judgmental words I’ve accumulated over the years.

This year I want to pay attention.  Use my own words with care.  Listen before speaking, to myself as well as those around me.

I’m practicing here.  Thanks for being my audience.

  2. i have been in the same process… one day i say my blog with new eyes and from that day my writing changed direction completely
