If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it’s not your path. Your own path you make with every step you take. That’s why it’s your path.-—Joseph Campbell

Not Any Other Day

Today isn’t any other day, you know.

                             Lewis Carroll

It’s Monday, and it sure feels like it.

What’s that mean?

I just learned that my Kodak easyshare account no longer exists, which means I can’t download the picture I took of this morning’s harvest…soon to be my lunch. A handful of green beans, a yellow squash, two carrots, and several leaves of Swiss chard. I’m making a veggie wrap.

Sounds good.

I’ve been at loose ends all morning.

Hmm.

Thank goodness work in the community youth garden begins on Wednesday.

It’s always nice to have something to look forward to.

And I can’t open my earthlink address book.

Oh my.

Ever since this computer’s been back from servicing, I’ve had to spend time getting re-aquainted.

Hmm.

I’m shutting this thing down soon, making lunch, then meeting a writing buddy.

Sounds good.

Why are you so chipper?

What do you mean?

It’s Monday and you’re not commiserating.

I figure you can get that kind of response just about anywhere. Wasn’t that cable guy in your backyard just sharing his frustration?

Well yeah…

I like to think I’m offering an alternative.

Whatever…
